The field work is an initiative that brings together young people from around the country to discuss and share experiences in the area of human rights. This year's participation of young people of the Spanish section of Amnesty International as well as young people from youth activism associations of Guinea Bissau.

Games, group dynamics, group work and photography are some of the ways that we use to understand how you can contribute to raising awareness on human rights and of the issues that we address in the program: Amnesty International, the role of young people in activism, discrimination and poverty.

The field work will take place on Thursday and the House of Arts in Famalicão. The transportation between the spaces will be provided by the organization.

More than a hundred young activists from all over the country gathered in Vila Nova de Famalicão, between 1 and 4 November, to participate in the 13 Amnesty International work camp. Young people aged between 15 and 18 years have promoted various activities relating to human rights. The Deputy Mayor, Paulo Cunha, received the young, on Thursday, at Quinta da Costa, in Mouquim. The Mayor wished them a good stay at Famalicão and stressed the role of this organization in the international struggle for human rights.

"By bringing together young people up to 18 years, this activity contributes heavily to the non-formal education, promoting a set of enriching skills that will make these young people better citizens and better professionals." Paulo Cunha launched a challenge "enjoy this action and assume your role as spokesmen of human rights in your families, in your schools, in your groups of friends. Be active actors in the protection of human rights ".

The field of Work in various areas of the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, namely in Quinta da Costa, in Mouquim, and in the Arts where they developed the activities.
On the first day, the young people were invited to conduct a scavenger hunt in the area of Quinta da Costa, with subordinate Human Rights tasks. On the second day, especially the realization of the project of Photographic Action Platform, where all foarm invited to use photography as a tool for social inclusion. Highlight is the preparation of the marathon of letters from Amnesty International, a worldwide activity to upgrade 7 to December 16 2012.
